Yasmin represents employers in a variety of employment related matters including claims arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Section 1981, Section 1983, wage and hour disputes and various employment related state law claims.
Yasmin has experience handling all aspects of employment litigation, including drafting and arguing motions, negotiating settlements and successfully defending clients in arbitration, mediation and trial. She also has extensive experience in public/governmental due process claims and hearings.
Yasmin provides legal and strategic advice and counsel to clients regarding internal investigations, employee disciplinary matters, policy development, reductions in force, EEOC investigations, OCR investigations and compliance issues.
